Fan-favorite clone drama ‘Orphan Black’ won’t return for season 3 until April 18, but cast and producers had plenty to say of the coming clone wars from the BBC-A’s TCA press tour panel. Not only do we have a scary new photo of mysterious male clone Rudy, but so too did producers reveal a host of new intel on Sarah, Allison, Cosima, Helena, Felix and more!

While the footage screened has not yet been made available to the public, ‘Orphan Black’ season 3 has at least revealed a frightening new look at male clone Rudy (Ari Millen), sporting even more scars than we last saw the incarcerated character with. Producers teased that the character enjoys sadistically getting under others’ skin, and has impressive fighting skills to complement his psychosis, likely from military training.

Elsewhere, we can expect Cosima and Felix to further their friendship by spending a bit more time together, while series lead Jordan Gavaris previewed that Felix would become more independent and start asking his own questions. As for some of the other new faces, James Frain’s character Ferdinand will provide a deadly threat to all the clone girls, while ‘Shameless’ star Justin Chatwin’s Jason Kellerman has been revealed as Allison’s high school flame, who puts a wedge between she and Donnie.

‘Orphan Black’ season 3 will also feature ‘Black Swan’ star Ksenia Solo as Cosima’s new healer friend Shay, ‘Warehouse 13' star Kyra Harper as the military’s Dr. Coady, and Earl Pastko as Ferdinand’s bodyguard “Bulldog.” We can also expect major fireworks for the finale, as creator John Fawcett called Season 3 “the hardest to write yet,” previewing that “there [are] some big things cooking for the season finale. The thing I’m most excited for is we have an incredible season end, and I think probably the best yet.”

So reads the ‘Orphan Black’ season 3 synopsis:

Season 3 plunges the clone sisterhood into unexpected territory with the realization that they’re not alone. Just when they thought they knew their enemies and allies, season three reveals our clones are more vulnerable than ever before. Highly trained, identical male-soldiers raise more questions than answers. Who are these new clones? Who created them? And more importantly, why do they exist?

Sarah, Cosima, Alison and Helena are stronger together than they are apart, but this season will put that bond to the test. Will they forge towards their truth, or fall at the feet of those that seek to control them?

In addition to ‘Game of Thrones’ star Michiel Huisman’s return, we also know series star Evelyne Brochu is confirmed to return in the role of Cosima’s scientist lover, Delphine. We’ll hopefully see the screened footage arrive online soon, while the show itself premieres on April 18, 2015, but check out the new photo above, and tell us what you want to see when the #CloneClub returns in 2015!
