The 2013 Oscar season is almost here and 'The Dark Knight Rises' is looking to get its hand on some of those gold trophies. Warner Bros. is mounting a major 'Dark Knight Rises' Oscar campaign for the film in most major categories. Find out who's in the running and who they'll likely be competing against.

According to HitFix, Warner Bros. will push 'The Dark Knight Rises' as Best Picture and Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway as Best Actor and Actress in a Lead Role, respectively. Hathaway getting a Best Actress push is something of a surprise (since the film is very much Batman's) but the decision was likely to prevent a conflict with 'Les Miserables' for which Universal will be promoting Hathaway as Best Supporting Actress.

In addition to Bale and Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Gary Oldman will all get promoted in the supporting category for their performances.

Though Heath Ledger won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for 'The Dark Knight,' we don't think much will come of the 'Dark Knight Rises' Oscar campaign. Hathaway probably has the best shot but will likely put most of her campaigning behind 'Les Miserables' leaving 'Dark Knight Rises' in the dust.

Bale and Hathaway would have to compete with 'Cloud Atlas' stars Tom Hanks and Halle Berry, who are also getting Best Actor campaigns from Warner Bros.

What do you think? Does 'The Dark Knight Rises' deserve any Oscar love? What performance have you seen this year has really stood out for you?
