Owen Wilson, Olivia Wilde and Brie Larson have been attached to star in the new comedy 'Squirrels to the Nuts' to be produced by Wes Anderson and Noah Baumbach.

The project by director Peter Bogdanovich, who hasn't made a film in years (Tom Petty documentaries don't count) has been circling the web since October of 2010 and now it looks as if the project is finally gaining some traction by casting some of Hollywood's hottest stars.

According to Variety, who broke the news, Larson will play a "hooker-turned-Broadway-thesp and the recurring intersection of those two facets of her life."

Wilson has been cast as a Broadway director who will pay for Larson's "services" despite being married to the star of the production. Later he gives Larson's character money to stop escorting and follow her dreams. Olivia Wilde will play a therapist.

The two producers are currently shopping the project around for financing and distribution. Owen Wilson is slated to re-team with his 'Wedding Crashers' co-star Vince Vaughn for the comedy 'The Internship,' while Olivia Wilde will next be seen in 'People Like Us' and 'The Words.' No word on further casting or where production will take place but we'll keep you updated on this interesting project.
