Overkill is planning to keep the love for Payday 2 running well after release, as it revealed plans for a full year of downloadable content for the heist title.

Speaking with OXM UK, Payday 2 director David Goldfarb shared the first details on the upcoming DLC for the sequel. "There's like a year of DLC planned," Goldfarb said. "One of the first things I have on my list, is to make sure we get a female character. I don't know if we'll get it as our first DLC, because we'd have to redo all the animations so it doesn't look like a dude walking around with a female body."

Beyond that though, Goldfarb didn't have much to share about what to expect. It makes sense considering Payday 2 only just released this week, but more maps and weapons certainly would be expected.
