We're not saying she should quit her day job anytime soon, but watching Anna Kendrick rap in this new clip from 'Pitch Perfect' is just about the coolest -- and cutest -- thing we've seen today. And yes, we've seen some cat videos.

Anna Kendrick is a breath of fresh air in any project, from her work in Jason Reitman's 'Up in the Air' to even, yes, the appalling 'What to Expect When You're Expecting.' It looks like she's brightening things up in the upcoming 'Pitch Perfect,' too -- a film about college student Beca (Kendrick), an introvert who doesn't really fit in anywhere until she's wrangled into joining a group of diverse girls in the school's a capella group.

Beca introduces the group to more modern songs and mash-ups to help them ascend the very competitive a capella ladder.

The film is directed by Jason Moore ('Avenue Q'), so we wouldn't bank on this being more of the same apple-faced song-and-dance we've gotten from 'Glee' in the last few years. Kendrick stars with Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Alexis Knapp, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Adam Devine, and Elizabeth Banks (that's a serious pool of talent) in the musical comedy that hits theaters on October 5.

In the clip below the ladies battle it out with a male group, singing songs about sex. Things aren't going so well for the ladies until Kendrick strolls over and throws down with some rap lyrics before leading the ladies in singing Blackstreet's 'No Diggity.' Thanks to MSN for the link.
