'Pitch Perfect' Contest: Audition for a Chance to Perform With the Cast

'Pitch Perfect' is the quintessential movie for 'Glee'-ks -- it follows a college-level a cappella girl group trying to revamp their image by singing popular songs (i.e. everything that 'Glee' is about). If that or the fact that 'Twilight' actress Anna Kendrick stars in this movie along with 'Bridesmaids' funny girl Rebel Wilson, then maybe getting the chance to sing along with the cast will do the trick.

Universal Pictures announced yesterday that they're looking for new talent to appear in their music video rendition of Nicki Minaj's "Starships," which will appear as a special feature on the DVD and Blu-ray release of 'Pitch Perfect.' The cast will be joined by internet music sensation Mike Tompkins, whose talent has been featured on 'Ellen DeGeneres' and the 'Today' show.

"Making music has driven me since I was a kid, and I know there are many others out there who love it as much as I do," said Tompkins. "I’m looking forward to seeing what we are able to create together."

Interested applicants can go online and submit videos displaying their vocal and pop-lockin' skills no later than August 22. Selected winners will be featured in this "Starships" video alongside the cast and Tompkins on the 'Pitch Perfect' DVD and Blu-ray, as well as Tompkins' YouTube page.

Check out the video below for more details and be sure to catch 'Pitch Perfect' in theaters October 5.
