Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare Trailer: First Person Peashooter?

We were fairly certain that EA was just kidding when they announced Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Shooter, but it turns out that they were dead serious.

This kooky game will feature a mix of tower defense-styled gameplay mixed with class-based third-person shooter action. All of the zombies and plants you love are back and can use their special abilities in battle. You'll control the plants and fight wave after wave of zombies, which isn't anything new, but now you'll be able to go through the action as if you were playing a shooter.

The game will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 and Xbox one. It will debut on the Xbox One first, before subsequently being released on the 360. Watch the trailer above and let us know what you think of Plants vs. Zombies' take on third-person shooters.
