PopCap Announces Peggle 2 Coming Soon

During EA's E3 press event, PopCap announced Peggle 2 with all the flourish, pomp, and circumstance a sequel like that deserved.

We wish we had more to report on Peggle 2, but literally, the only thing mentioned was that it was coming. There was more time put into the leaping jump of excitement PopCap's representative used to make the announcement than there was in showing any kind of footage whatsoever.

The first Peggle was a delightful and addictive puzzle game, so it's likely this follow-up will be just as entertaining. People have been waiting for a follow-up to Peggle almost as long as they have for a Plants vs. Zombies sequel, so this bodes well for fans.
