An official IFC video sees Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein announcing the 'Portlandia' season 4 premiere as Thursday, February 17, the first of a new 10-episode season that brings new and old favorites to the table. Included among the returning guest stars are Ed Begley Jr. ('Arrested Development'), Steve Buscemi ('Boardwalk Empire'), Annie Clark, Jeff Goldblum, Kumail Nanjiani, Jason Sudeikis, director Gus Van Sant, and Kyle MacLachlan ('Twin Peaks') as Portlandia’s eccentric mayor.

As if that weren't enough, the new season adds the likes of Tunde Adebimpe, Jello Biafra, Vanessa Bayer, Kirsten Dunst, Joshua Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), singer-songwriter k.d. lang, Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses), Silas Weir Mitchell ('Grimm'), Michael Nesmith (The Monkees), Mark Proksch, Maya Rudolph, columnist Dan Savage, Nick Swardson ('Reno 911!'), jazz duo Tuck and Patti, Jeff Tweedy, Olivia Wilde, Paul Allen and members of the Portland Trail Blazers.

'Portlandia' was previously guaranteed a fifth season to premiere in 2015, as well, though beyond that remains uncertain. “Five seasons intuitively feels like the right amount of time for ‘Portlandia’ to be around,” said series star Carrie Brownstein in an NPR interview. “I always think people overstay their welcome. It’s better to leave people wanting more. But you never know.”
