Just in case you weren’t sure, this is just your regular reminder that the live-action Power Rangers movie is not a prolonged April Fools joke and is actually something that is happening. For real. While we’ve heard a lot of talk about the movie, today we have our first photo from the film with Elizabeth Banks as the villainous Rita Repulsa.

We love Elizabeth Banks and appreciate her desire to make some money, so we’ll let her speak for this new shot, debuted on Entertainment Weekly, of her character in the film.

“It’s definitely a modern and edgy re-imagining of the original Rita Repulsa.”

It’s definitely something. It actually looks like the Green Goblin from the Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark Broadway musical.

In addition to Banks, the film stars Dacre Montgomery, RJ Cyler, Naomi Scott, Becky G, and Ludi Lin as the new Power Rangers.

Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.

Power Rangers opens in theaters (seriously!) on March 24, 2017.
