At Gamescom, Microsoft and Team Dakota revealed more details on Project Spark. The do-it-yourself game will feature full voice and motion capturing tools to help you put yourself in your creation like never before.

According to Xbox Wire, you'll be able to use Kinect to record your own voice, facial animations and body motion to create your own dialogue, character animations and even cut scenes. The capturing tools offer some impressive options, and Project Spark sounds like it will give would-be developers a chance to create more than just simple levels.

  • Facial Expression Capture – Users can record their face and have it applied to an in-game character
  • Animation Recording – Do a new attack, full body motions, gestures, etc.
  • Record audio and modulate – Speak a line, singing, etc. Modulate the sounds in a variety of ways

You can sign up for the beta on Windows 8 and Xbox One, with PC players getting invites starting in October. Console beta hopefuls won't be able to play with Project Spark until January 2014, but you can still sign up today right over here.
