As we gear up for this summer's movie season - which starts in a little over a week - one of our most anticipated is 'Prometheus' which has Ridley Scott returning to the science fiction well and the world of 'Alien.' But (as we've been told) it's not a prequel in the classic sense of setting up the first film. There's a new featurette, and it speaks to its brilliant director while offering new footage. Take a look...

At this point we don't really want any more spoiled than what's been in the trailers, but every new glimpse of footage is exciting. There are little tidbits here and there, though nothing spoilery, and that footage is interspersed with interviews with the cast and Scott talking about what a genius the director is.

This offers Guy Pearce, Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender and Charlize Theron saying great things about the director, which is par for the course at this point. Perhaps in ten years a cast member might say something about how Scott is something other than a visionary, but for now they have a movie to sell. Though the film's quality is unknown - and won't be until it opens June 9 - kudos to Fox. They've marketed this project as well as humanly possible.
