Quantum Break to Change How People Think of Live Action and Gaming

Confused by the footage of Quantum Break that was shown during the Xbox One reveal? Don't worry, you're not alone. 

In a recent interview on Polygon, Microsoft Studios corporate vice president Phil Spencer discussed the upcoming Xbox One game in order to shed some light on the mysterious and ambitious title from Remedy Entertainment.

The game is still in early development and will not launch with the Xbox One, but both Microsoft and Remedy Entertainment are "trying to push the boundaries of how people think of live action and gaming today."

Spencer says that Remedy's focus will be on storytelling and that through television, they'll be able to tell strong stories. Players will be able to view the action on TV and then can participate in the story through gaming, giving the whole narrative an interactive component. It's a somewhat similar tack as SyFy's and Trion's Defiance.
