Casting continues for Darren Aronofsky's upcoming biblical tale 'Noah' and veteran actor Ray Winstone is in negotiations to star in the film -- as the villain. Did Noah have an antagonist besides the weather and maybe poor ventilation?

Deadline is reporting that Ray Winstone is being offered the role of antagonist to Russell Crowe's character of Noah. What that role actually is, no one really knows. It's hard to recall Noah having an enemy besides the water and the smell of poop from all the animals aboard the Ark. Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth and Emma Watson are also on board.

Winstone can currently be seen in 'Snow White and the Huntsman' as one of the dwarfs. He's played bad guys and good guys so he's always a safe, and great choice for any film. Still to be cast is Noah's wife, with the rumors being that Jennifer Connelly may be approached for the part, having worked with Crowe before in 'A Beautiful Mind.'

Back to Winstone, who could he be playing? A great flood was the only real enemy when God gave Noah instructions on how to build an Ark to save mankind and the animals from God's cleansing of the Earth. We'll keep you updated as more casting news becomes available.
