The PlayStation Vita version of Rayman Legends was discovered to be missing 28 levels when compared to its console counterparts. Ubisoft issued a response, saying that the Vita will receive those levels later on.

According to CVG, the 28 missing "Invasion" levels will be added to the PlayStation Vita version of the game via a free downloadable patch. The portable version of the game was supposed to be identical to the console versions, but ended up having less content, such as less Lums and Teensies to collect.

Ubisoft communications manager Gary Steinman said, "Due to a longer development time than expected, we couldn't initially include the Invasion Mode - essentially, a second take on existing Rayman Legends maps -- in the Vita version of the game."

Steinman confirmed that the free download would be coming at a later date for the PlayStation Vita.
