The poster for the long-delayed remake of 'Red Dawn' starring Chris Hemsworth has finally arrived. So we guess the folks at FilmDistrict weren't lying, and we'll get to see this movie pretty soon after all. Wolverines!

'Red Dawn' has been delayed for a very, very long time, but FilmDistrict is finally releasing the film on November 21, just in time to give you something to be thankful for after all that turkey and family melodrama on Thanksgiving.

The film is a remake of the classic from 1984, which starred Patrick Swayze in a tale of communism on American soil. In this version, a city comes under siege from invading forces and the citizens of the town become prisoners in their own homes. A group of young people band together to take matters into their own hands, training and hiding out in the nearby woods, waiting for their time to strike and reclaim their hometown. Inspired by their high school mascot, the group of young fighters call themselves the Wolverines, and set out to take back their homes from the invading military force and set the people of the town free.

Chris Hemsworth stars alongside Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Adrianne Palicki, Isabel Lucas, Josh Peck and Josh Hutcherson. The official poster is below, courtesy of Yahoo Movies.
