Resident Evil Costumes Are a Revelation

Three new costumes will be released as an add-on for the HD remake of Resident Evil: Revelations.

Finding and unlocking new costumes for characters in Resident Evil games have been part of the experience for quite some time. With recent entries, however, Capcom has taken things a step further, and introduced costumes as paid add-ons. It appears Revelations will not be an exception to that rule, as Tuesday Capcom released the first images of alternate looks for Jill (pirate), Chris (sailor), and Keith (ninja).

These costumes didn't appear in the Nintendo 3DS version of the game, but will be made available in the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U re-releases. No price or actual release date has been revealed. There's a slight chance the costumes could be included for free, but given Capcom's past history, that seems unlikely.

Resident Evil: Revelations is due out on May 21 for consoles, and hopefully we'll find out more about when these new looks will be made available.
