Alice is back. Dr. Isaacs is back. The Red Queen is back. That laser hallway is back. Those dogs that grow increasingly worse in every installment of the franchise are back. All your favorites are returning for Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, and the latest trailer has invited old friends and new for the last outing of the series.

After five movies-worth of fighting against the Umbrella Corporation’s zombies and genetically engineered monsters, Alice is ready for one last go at it. She’s returning to Raccoon City, where it sounds like she can find a cure for the virus that’ll end this once and for all. This trailer is full of lines like, “Everything has led to this,” “All this could end,” letting us know that yes, this is the last one, people! Alice and her crew of hot zombie-killers are ready to go out with a bang, the word “bang” meaning in this case, of course, a giant waterfall of fire.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, humanity is on its last legs in Washington D.C. As the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began – Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse. In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between regaining her superhuman abilities at Wesker’s hand and Umbrella’s impending attack, this will be Alice’s most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter stars Milla Jovovich, Iain Glen, Ruby Rose, and Ali Larter, and hits theaters January 27.
