We feel a great swell of pity for NBC's 'Revolution,' which despite a pretty stellar cast and premise is likely to engage in an uphill battle with viewers, the way so many high-concept sci-fi series have struggled to find homes on major networks. 'Revolution' is definitely worth a shot, especially after what we saw at Comic-Con 2012, but now you can judge for yourself after checking out the full-length preview! Plus, what secrets lie within?

Set 15 years after a global blackout prevents any and all electronic devices from working, 'Revolution' comes as one of the more intriguing pilots to be seen this upcoming season. Not to mention, with such attached talent as 'Supernatural' creator Eric Kripke, J.J. Abrams and even 'Iron Man' director Jon Favreau picking up directing duties for the pilot, it's hard not to black out with anticipation.

Along with their competent 2012 Olympics coverage, NBC has released  a brand-new two-minute preview of the adventure series, which stars 'Twilight's' Billy Burke, 'Breaking Bad's' Giancarlo Esposito and 'LOST's' Elizabeth Mitchell (originally Andrea Roth in the pilot). The preview is certainly intense, but also seems like it might release a few key plot points early...

For one, it seems like not everyone has lost power in the wake of the global blackout, and the preview definitely gives away that at least one lead character isn't quite who they make themselves out to be. In any case, be sure to check out the trailer below, and tell us if you're excited for 'Revolution' in the comments!
