Richard Linklater is headed to Austin.

The South By South West Film Festival announced on Tuesday that Linklater’s latest film, Everybody Wants Some, will open the fest next year. Written and directed by Linklater, the film will follow a group of college baseball players in the 1980s. The 10-day film segment of SXSW‘s music, film and interactive festival will kick off on Opening Night on March 11, 2016.

The filmmaker previously described the film as the “spiritual sequel” to Dazed and Confused, as well as a continuation to Boyhood. “It begins right where Boyhood ends,” Linklater previously told The Wrap about Everybody Wants Some. “A guy arriving for the first weekend of college. It’s about members of a college baseball team arriving at college for the first time, and it all takes place in the weekend before college starts.” The film stars an ensemble cast including Will Brittain, Zoey Deutch, Ryan Anthony Guzman, Tyler Hoechlin, Blake Jenner, Glen Powell and Wyatt Russell. It will be released by Paramount on April 15, 2016. The rest of the SXSW film slate will be unveiled in February.
