A decade after it concluded, the original BBC version of 'The Office' remains one of the greatest television comedies of all time and Ricky Gervais' David Brent one of the most memorable comedic creations in TV history. Not even the diminishing returns of the once-wonderful American series can tarnish the original...but how about a YouTube follow-up to the original series? See for yourself below.

A "mini episode" that premiered as part of the UK's Comic Relief day, the ten minute short catches up with Brent ten years after we last saw him in the 'The Office' Christmas special...and it looks like things haven't changed too much for him. He's still making a living selling cleaning products out of his car, he still has a pretty high opinion of himself, he still has a knack for making everyone around him deeply uncomfortable and, of course, he's still dabbling in the music business. Anyone who remembers the infamous "Free Love on the Free Love Freeway" sequence from the original series will love a very specific callback here.

And yes, the music video teased in the episode actually exists and you can watch that below, too. Fans of cringe-comedy will be pleased.

It's strangely comforting to know, a decade later, Gervais can return to the character that made his career and let us know that he's still as obnoxious and lacking in self-awareness as ever. What do you think? Do you want to see more from the world of 'The Office' or should Gervais leave the character alone at this point?
