Hot on the heels of the David Fincher-produced trailer for the new 'Halo' game, Guy Ritchie has stepped into the video game arena with the debut of his commercial for 'Call of Duty: Black Ops II,' featuring an all-too-brief cameo from Robert Downey Jr.

'Call of Duty: Black Ops II' has some serious pedigree: the game features voice work from Sam Worthington, a score from Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor (who won an Oscar alongside Atticus Ross for their work on 'The Social Network'), and a script from 'Batman Begins' scribe David Goyer. That's pretty awesome.

And now the game can add another name to the pile of fame: director Guy Ritchie, who teams up with his 'Sherlock Holmes' star Robert Downey Jr. in this commercial for 'Call of Duty: Black Ops II.' Ritchie directed the CGI-laden ad, which also features actor Omar Sy from 'The Intouchables' and some other people who are apparently internet famous or something.

The ad is... not very good. Downey Jr.'s part is more like a cameo, in which he apathetically expresses that he's brought a jet to a gun fight -- those may be the words coming out of his mouth, but what we're really hearing is, "When do I get paid, again?"
