Save the Date: ‘Robocop’ Reboot Lands Release

Following last week's casting of 'The Killing''s Joel Kinnaman in the titular role of Robocop, the reboot of the 80s classic now has an official release date. So what date should you circle on your calendars?

After years in financial purgatory, MGM seems to finally be putting all the pieces into place for their Jose Padilha-directed take on the Detroit super cop. According to Ain't It Cool, Sony has announced an August 9, 2013 release date.

We have seen the future. You're on notice, Detroit. Robocop is coming to clean up your streets next summer... On the big screen, anyway. There's really nothing we can do about your actual crime situation. Best of luck in all of your endeavors, though.
