We’ve previously seen videos of Ryan Gosling performing at a young age, before he was cast on Disney’s Mickey Mouse Club. Apparently Gosling made a habit out of performing at talent shows and making the girls swoon when he was but a wee Baby Goose. A new video has now emerged from 1992, in which a 12-year-old Gosling dances with a crew of young ladies…while wearing M.C. Hammer pants.

The video was taken at a talent show in 1992 and features Gosling in a purple and silver get-up with Hammer-style pants, pumping his arms and dancing with a group of talented girls to a dance remix of some sort. And he’s definitely got some moves. Maybe he has a future in a franchise similar to Step-Up. Maybe we should see Ryan Gosling engaging his enemies in dance battles in his future movies. Dare to dream.

For a quick refresher, you can also watch a video of a tiny Gosling singing at a talent show in 1991, and below that, a bit of Gosling on the Mickey Mouse Club. We know adult Gosling can sing, as evidenced by his performance of “You Always Hurt the Ones You Love” in Blue Valentine, where he also played the ukulele. We need more singing and dancing Gosling, stat.
