Now that Jon Stewart is off in the wilderness of HBO, perhaps no late-night voices kept us so sane through 2016 as Samantha Bee and John Oliver. We already knew the latter would be back, but now TBS confirms Full Frontal With Samantha Bee will return for Season 2 in 2017, and on a new night at that.

TBS confirms that the Emmy-nominated late-night series will return for Season 2 in 2017, premiering on Wednesday, January 11 at 10:30 P.M. Up until now, the series had been airing in a Monday timeslot, though some post-debate episodes aired on Wednesday as well.

Says Bee, hanging on to her optimism under a Trump presidency:

I am only sorry that this renewal leaves me unavailable for a cabinet position in the new administration. I will, however, be available to host the White House Correspondents Dinner, seeing as I already bought the dress.

And added TBS of the no-brainer renewal:

Of course we’re picking up the show. In less than a year, Sam has become one of the most talked-about personalities in all of television and Full Frontal’s audience continues to grow. We’re so lucky to have Sam and her Emmy-nominated team, led by the brilliant Jo Miller, as part of the TBS family. Xoxoxoxo.

Bee will have plenty to talk about in 2017, but check out some of the most recent Full Frontal clips below.
