Oliver Stone's 'Savages' hits theaters next month, and amid the appeal of bigger summer blockbusters, what does this film have to offer? The answer is simple: Taylor Kitsch, lots of marijuana, and guns.

Starring Kitsch, Blake Lively, Aaron Johnson, Salma Hayek, Benicio Del Toro and John Travolta, 'Savages' has a stellar cast and a prestigious director to boot.

The film tells the story of two brothers (Kitsch and Johnson) running a profitable marijuana empire in Laguna Beach and the beautiful girlfriend whom they share (Lively). When a violent Mexican drug cartel kidnaps their girlfriend, the brothers get in over their heads to get her back.

These videos were released today via the film's official website. They're filmed interrogation style, giving us an introduction to the characters, who have been mostly obscured by a cloud of weed smoke until now. Kitsch and Johnson seem appropriately aloof, the kinds of guys who get into illegal business for the easy profit, without fully realizing the consequences. We also get an intro to Hayek's character, Elena, the widowed wife of a cartel boss, and her enforcer, Lado (Del Toro), who wears a skull mask, bandido-style, to protect his identity.

'Savages' hits theaters July 6.
