Scooby-Doo and those meddling kids are getting the reboot treatment, as all bits of nostalgic entertainment inevitably do, and Warner Bros. is the culprit ... again.

Deadline reports that WB is in the early stages of rebooting 'Scooby-Doo,' the classic animated property about a group of teen detectives and their trusty dog sidekick, who solve mysteries that always end up leading them to some obvious villain.

This isn't the first time 'Scooby-Doo' has been resuscitated for modern audiences on the big screen: back in 2002, WB made a live-action version of the property, directed by Raja Gosnell ('The Smurfs') and starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard and Freddie Prinze Jr., followed by a sequel in 2004. James Gunn, director of 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' actually worked on the script for the first live-action 'Scooby-Doo' film.

According to the report, however, Randall Green is attached to the new film as a writer, though no other cast or crew have been set. So what do you guys think? Who do you see in the roles of Shaggy, Velma, Fred and Daphne? And what about the adorable Scooby-Doo?
