Shadow Warrior Trailer: Reboot Coming to Next Gen Consoles

3D Realms' Shadow Warrior is being revived by Hard Reset Studio and Flying Wild Hog for next generation consoles and the PC. The first screenshots and trailer were released over the weekend, and you can check them out now.

There isn't a whole lot to go on based on the first rendered trailer for Shadow Warrior, but you can tell the devs are definitely attempting to keep the violent and supernatural tone of the original game. Originally, the game starred Lo Wang, who took on the monsters of Master Zilla. The classic 3D Realms game was a bit insensitive, but times have changed, and it looks like Hard Reset and Flying Wild Hog are taking a much more serious approach.

You can get a better idea of what's in store from the trailer and screens, including some up close looks at the monsters you'll be taking on. More info is expected in the coming weeks and at E3, so we'll just have to see how far Shadow Warrior has come in the last fifteen years.
