We talk about a lot of movies here. Big movies. Small movies. Good movies. Bad movies. Kitchen sink dramas. Superhero epics. However, we can say without hesitation that we haven't seen anything quite like SyFy's new movie 'Sharknado.'

Yes, you read that correctly. 'Sharknado.'

Like all SyFy movies, 'Sharknado' looks like it was made for a handful of pennies by a crew who had no idea what they were doing. But let's face it: do you expect perfection from a movie called 'Sharknado'?

'Sharknado.' Seriously.

As the title implies, 'Sharknado' is about a massive tornado that descends upon the city of Los Angeles, but get this: the tornado is full of sharks. Man-eating sharks. Man-eating sharks that are somehow still alive despite being lifted out of the water by a funnel cloud who are then flung around the city, often in the general direction of actors who have seen better days.

And it all stars Tara Reid. Because, of course 'Sharknado' stars Tara Reid.

SyFy original movies have never been good, but there's an audacity on display here that we can't help but find admirable. This isn't just a bad, dumb idea -- it's a transcendentally bad, dumb idea, that deserves our respect, not our scorn. We honestly can't wait to see 'Sharknado.'

Seriously, guys. It's called 'Sharknado.'

'Sharknado' premieres on the SyFy Channel on Thursday, June 11 at 9:00pm EST. You know you're going to watch it.
