It may be a while yet before ABC or Marvel make public any footage or photos from the inevitable 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' TV series, but it's still seen as an extreme likelihood the network will pick up such an obviously buzz-worthy tie in to the lucrative ongoing Marvel Cinematic Universe. And while production has given out a few snippets of production from the pilot episode, we're learning that the shoot has officially wrapped on the Joss Whedon-helmed pilot for 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' Check out the final photo from production inside!

There's no telling exactly how ABC will handle promotion or pickups of Marvel's 'S.H.I.E.L.D' TV series, but at the very least, we'll have an exciting pilot to look forward to. In addition to the few vague looks around the sets we've seen thus far, writer/producer Maurissa Tancharoen has officially announced the end of production over Twitter, gathering Jeph Loeb, Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon and Jeffrey Bell for a commemorative photo of the wrap.

It remains to be seen what other details from the pilot will become available, but surely news of a series pickup will arrive in spring, in advance of a potential presence at San Diego Comic-Con. Marvel’s ‘S.H.I.E.L.D.’ TV series features a cast that includes Clark Gregg’s resurrected Agent Phil Coulson, as well as ‘ER’ vet Ming-Na, Chloe Bennet, Brett Dalton, Elizabeth Henstridge and Iain De Caestecker as the other agents of the team. Nick Fury himself, Samuel L. Jackson recently stated that he expected to be involved in some small capacity, while 'How I Met Your Mother' and 'The Avengers' star Cobie Smulders remains open to the possibility as well.
