Unsure of what you were going to be doing on the night of Sunday, September 30?  Well, now you know!  Wasn't that easy?

Today Showtime announces the return dates of two of its most popular and critically-acclaimed series, that of long-running serial killer drama 'Dexter' and CIA thriller 'Homeland'!

According to the report, 'Dexter' will carve up its seventh season with the premiere on Sunday, September 30 at 9:00 p.m., immediately followed by the season 2 premiere of 'Homeland' at 10:00 p.m.

Apart from their debut date, relatively little is known about either the seventh season of 'Dexter' or the sophomore effort of 'Homeland.'  Each was left in something of a precarious state by their respective season finales, which - SPOILER ALERT - saw Deb finally uncovering her brother's murderous activities as he plunged a knife into the Doomsday Killer, and 'Homeland's Carrie finally remembering a crucial bit of information before being administered electroshock therapy for her condition.

So who's got the best theories on what we'll see when 'Dexter' and 'Homeland' return at the end of the summer?  Will Deb turn her brother in, or go forward with her icky attraction to her murderous adopted sibling?  Will Carrie be able to remember Brody's misdeeds well enough to stop him from influencing the next president?  Will Saul ever shave off his mammoth beard?

Tune in Sunday, September 30 for these answers and more, and hit us up with what you'd most like to see in the comments section below!
