The first official trailer for 'Silent Hill: Revelation 3D' is here, and while we could certainly do without that pesky 3D bit, the trailer does a great job of making us want to return to the haunted little town.

Several years after the events of 'Silent Hill,' Harry Mason (Sean Bean) and daughter Heather (Adelaide Clemens) are still running from their past. Heather is plagued by dreams of Silent Hill, and when her father goes missing, she embarks on a journey to find him and maybe figure out what her dreams really mean.

Co-starring Radha Mitchell, Kit Harrington ('Game of Thrones'), Malcolm McDowell, Carrie-Anne Moss, Deborah Kara Unger, and Martin Donovan, 'Silent Hill: Revelation 3D' looks to be an appropriately eerie successor to the first film. Directed by Michael J. Bassett ('Solomon Kane'), the film hits theaters on October 26, just in time for Halloween.

And if you're a fan of the video game franchise, you'll be pleased to see the return of the creepy nurses and the pyramid-headed monster with the giant sword, affectionately known as Pyramidhead, because obviously. The film also appears to feature the return of Sharon/Alessa from the first film (unless we're misinterpreting that black-eyed little girl), who seems to be a full-fledged demonic entity now.
