'Sin City 2' has been rumored ever since the original film hit theaters and now, almost 10 years later, 'Sin City 2' is actually happening (even if sometimes we forget that it is). Directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller have brought back some of the film's original cast - Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, Rosario Dawson - added some new players - Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Brolin, Eva Green - and now we get our first look at what they're up to with the 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For' poster.

There's not much to this poster, at least in terms of big giveaways, but it's still raining and there are the trademark red lips from Miller's comics. What's coming out of them - is that smoke? lightning? - is unclear.

While the movie is ostensibly based on the "Dame to Kill For" graphic novel, the stories followed in the film are completely new, written by Miller for the sequel. There are four segments: "A Dame to Kill For" starring Brolin and Green, "Just Another Saturday Night" starring Rourke, "The Long Bad Night" starring Gordon-Levitt and Julia Garner, and a fourth untitled segment that follows Martigan (Willis) and Nancy (Alba) from the first film.

It's an impressive cast and it's something we'd normally be excited about, but we're having a hard time getting the taste out of our mouths from Rodriguez and Miller's last films. 'Machete Kills' might be one of the worst movies of this year and 'The Spirit' was definitely one of the worst movies of 2008. Having these two pair up on one movie sounds like it could be a recipe for disaster.

Take a look at the 'Dame to Kill For' teaser poster below and let us know what you think. 'Sin City 2' opens on August 22, 2014.
