'SNL' hit something a of a rough patch this past March with a weak Jim Parsons hosting installment and only a slight improvement for 'Girls' creator and star Lena Dunham, but already the April 2014 run of the long-running sketch comedy series sounds pitch perfect. Following Louis C.K.'s March 29 return, 'Pitch Perfect' favorite Anna Kendrick will make her hosting debut with musical guest Pharrell, followed by 'Neighbors' star Seth Rogen.

First up, Sam Smith has been announced to join 'Louie' creator and star Louis C.K. for this March 29 'SNL' return, the comedian's second hosting gig after a rain-soaked appearance in 2012. April 5 will see Anna Kendrick partnered with Pharrell, while April 12 will see Seth Rogen marking his third 'SNL' hosting turn with musical guest Ed Sheeran.

The early March 'SNL' installments understandably suffered a bit with the loss of new 'Late Night' host Seth Meyers, even with head writer Colin Jost taking the Weekend Update alongside Cecily Strong. Internet and 'Pitch Perfect' darling Anna Kendrick will surely bring some A-game to the proceedings, while Rogen usually has enough comedic chops to carry whatever material writers can throw his way. And hey, "Like a Boss" sequel, anyone?

We've certainly heard worse excuses to get "Cups" stuck in our heads all over again, so tell us what you want to see from future 'SNL' with Anna Kendrick and Seth Rogen in the comments!
