The big 'SNLTina Fey-centric return this past weekend certainly kicked things off on the right note, getting in a few shots at HBO's 'Girls' along the way with a sketch that featured Fey in the role of an Albanian refugee who contrasts the 'Girls' characters notoriously peppy lifestyles. 'Girls' creator Lena Dunham hasn't always been one to take parody in stride however, so what did Dunham have to say about the spoof?

Keeping somewhat low key about the nod, Dunham took to Twitter to say that "The SNL parody of Girls was a true honor," also adding of the premiere that she was "Very excited about the current lineup of SNL ladies. They are funny like whoa." 'The Office' vet and 'The Mindy Project' creator Mindy Kaling shared on her own account that Dunham had watched the parody with her, posting a picture of the parody as well.

Meanwhile, we know of ‘Girls’ season 3 that the next run has expanded to 12 episodes, and has had casting calls that suggest a character would somehow end up in rehabJon Hamm‘s wife Jennifer Westfeldt has been observed filming on the set, while Michael Zegen (‘Boardwalk Empire‘) has been announced in an unknown role, along with ‘Orange is the New Black‘ star Danielle Brooks. Other guest stars include ‘Doctor Who‘ star Richard E. Grant, ‘Crystal Fairy’ star Gabby Hoffmann, ‘The To Do List' star Sarah Steele and ‘Zero Hour‘ star Amir Arison.
