Hurricane Sandy may have thrown a lot of people off their game this week, wreaking havoc on the network TV schedule let alone the Eastern seaboard, but there's still one bright spot on the horizon. Nothing will keep Emmy-winning comedian and 'Louie' creator Louis C.K. from his 'SNL' hosting gig! So, does Louis' comedic persona translate well to the world of sketch comedy? Find out in the first official promos for Saturday's episode!

No amount of hurricane will keep funnyman Louis C.K. from the 'SNL' stage this weekend, hosting the long-running sketch comedy show with musical guest Fun. NBC has seen fit to release the first official promos of the comedian's hosting turn, riffing on everything from Halloween to Hurricane Sandy itself, but does it actually work?

The promos below seem funny enough, with Louis C.K. getting plenty of mileage out of his awkward reactions, but will he be able to handle full-on sketch comedy? The comedian is best known for being himself rather than many other characters, but if it works for Zach Galifianakis, we'll keep an open mind. Anything's got to be better than Daniel Craig, anyway.

Check out the promos for Louis C.K.'s upcoming turn hosting 'Saturday Night Live' this weekend, and give us your predictions in the comments!
