'SNL' Preview: Woody Harrelson Volunteers for 'Hunger Games'

The 40th anniversary season of 'SNL' took off this past weekend to recuperate from its Chris Rock outing, but 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay' star Woody Harrelson won't rest in volunteering for the longrunning NBC sketch comedy show's Quarter Quell. See what the 'True Detective' star has to offer in Woody Harrelson's first 'SNL' promos of this Saturday's coming installment!

Our first look at Harrelson's 'SNL' return naturally pokes fun at 'The Hunger Games,' briefly incorporating Aidy Bryant as Katniss Everdeen (please let this make it to an actual sketch), but also sees series staple Taran Killam confusing Harrelson with a number of famous Woodys. Yet another famous woody even makes an appearance, and a gunfight breaks out! You should probably just watch for yourself.

The November 15 installment will see Harrelson returning to the 'SNL' stage for the third time, having previously hosted the series in 1989 and 1992. Musical guest Kendrick Lamar, meanwhile, last appeared with Adam Levine in 2013. ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1‘ will hit theaters on November 21 (lest we forget, both Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson hosted in 2013), while Lamar will promote his third studio album dropping later this year.
