SNL Threatens Miley Cyrus Nudity in First Season 41 Promos

The onslaught of fall 2015 premieres applies to more than primetime, and the not-so-ready-for-primetime players are eager to show their stuff, some moreso than others. Case in point, SNL arrives with its first Season 41 premiere promos, as Miley Cyrus pulls double duty, and threatens booty as host and musical guest.

Our first taste of SNL’s Season 41 premiere sees Cyrus returning to the stage after her 2013 appearance, in which she also acted as both host and musical guest. Granted, the former child star wasn’t quite so recognized for her risquée (if existent) attire, as the promos with Taran Killam repeatedly reference.

Following Miley Cyrus, the NBC sketch comedy great will see comedy icon Amy Schumer taking the stage for the first time with The Weekend, while October 17 will bring Tracy Morgan out of recovery to host alongside Demi Lovato. As to changes this year, Season 41 has added comedian Jon Rudnitsky to its featured players, along with Fran Gillespie, Will Stephen, Sudi Green, Paul Masella, Chris Belair, and Dave Sirus to the writers’ room.

Conversely, SNL Season 41 will lose fan-favorite Mike O’Brien, along with Claire Mulaney, Alison Rich, Natasha Rothwell and Nick Rutherford. While we gear up for Saturday, check out Miley’s premiere promos above, and hope the censors keep quick on the draw.
