‘Snowpiercer’ Posters Reveal Another Awesome Transformation for Tilda Swinton

For a second, some people thought this is what Tilda Swinton's character in the sci-fi flick 'Snowpiercer' looked like, but as official images started making the rounds, we all realized that her look is much more drastic. Now that new character posters have been revealed, we get an up-close look at another one of her more interesting movie transformations.

She's been a White Witch in 'Chronicles of Narnia,' the angel Gabriel in 'Constantine,' and now Tilda Swinton is playing...a cross between Princess Leia and someone from 'Cloud Atlas'?

From director Bong Joon-ho ('The Host,' 'Mother') and based on the French graphic novel, 'Snowpiercer' takes place in 2031 where the world has been wiped nearly clean of all life in the wake of a new Ice Age. Only those living in the Snow Piercer, a train that travels by a sacred perpetual-motion engine around the globe, remain. On the vehicle, class lines are drawn but a rebellion is soon on the horizon. Tilda's character is named Mason, and from the looks of previous movie stills, she seems to be a member of the upper class.

Aside from Swinton, 'Snowpiercer' features Chris Evans, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, Ewen Brewmner, John Hurt, Kang-ho Song, Ang-sung Ko and Ed Harris, all of which are featured in the new character posters (via Movies.com) below.

No US premiere date has been set, though 'Snowpiercer' will debut internationally this summer.
