Sonic: Lost World Screenshots Race onto the Scene

The veil has been lifted and details of Sonic: Lost World have been revealed to the public. This Nintendo-exclusive title features a lot of new skills, enemies, and environments, giving Sonic fans both old and new something to celebrate. Some new screenshots have been released that give us some glimpses into this Lost World.

As we can see from the screenshots below, we'll be racing along with the Blue Blur across many different floating environments set against a 3D world.

It's cool to see Sonic use some of his new parkour moves and perform wall-runs in order to avoid being skewered and becoming a shish-kehog. Loops, which have been a series staple, make their return and look fantastic in the new world.

We can't wait to see what kind of involvement Eggman will have in his quest to help Sonic defeat the Deadly Six, but he's not pictured in this batch. Oh well.

The game will be released later this year for both the Wii U and the 3DS. Let us know what you think of the screens and tell us if you'll join Sonic in this new adventure.
