‘Sons of Anarchy’ Season 5 Promo Is All Out of Play

Just because the endless stream of thoughtless, loud motorcyclists careening past our building has us ready to blow doesn't mean that we're anticipating 'Sons of Anarchy' season 5 any less!  It's a brave new world for SAMCRO with Jax Teller at the helm, and a still-living Clay sitting silently in the background, ready to seek his revenge.  Or is he?  The first official footage of the new season has us all revved up, but what's Clay up to?

You won't have to ride through this world all alone, now that all your friends from 'Sons of Anarchy' are back for season 5!  The new season won't officially debut until September 11, but the latest promo is enough to get your chopper buzzing.  In it, we see a visibly weaker Clay (aw, he totally looks like Piney, that guy he straight-up murdered) squaring of against his surrogate son Jax across the SAMCRO table.  Clay claims to be all out of play, but is he secretly hiding his revenge?

Elsewhere, you'll catch a look at some choice images, including Opie being dragged away by police, One-Niners looking for revenge, and even our first good look at Jimmy Smits as his new character Neron "Nero" Parada, “a Latino gangbanger with an exit strategy who becomes a dangerous mentor for Jax.”

‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 5 boasts an impressive stable of guest stars, including Disney Channel star Ashley Tisdale as Emma Jean, a high-priced escort who complicates SAMCRO’s life for two, possibly more episodes, Billy Brown as August Marks, right-hand man to Harold Perrineau’s major villain character Damon Pope; as well as 'Community' star Joel McHale as Warren, a con man who crosses the wrong person.
