With 'Justified' due to wrap up its fourth season tonight, and 'The Americans' soon to complete its first year, it could be a while yet before we get the FX gunplay we so enjoy. Thankfully, we're just a few months from the 'Sons of Anarchy' season 6 premiere, which has huge threads of its own to tie off! Ron Perlman's Clay Morrow has long been a staple of the series' but will 'Sons of Anarchy' season 6 see the disgraced SAMCRO leader at his end? New intel on season 6 inside!

Last season's 'Sons of Anarchy' finale "Jai Obtenu Cette" saw Tara at a dire end on her way to prison, with Clay headed to the big house on unrelated charges, but will the grizzled ex-SAMCRO member have a harder time keeping out of harm's way? TVLine recently spoke to 'Sons of Anarchy' show-runner Kurt Sutter, who revealed that Clay could remain behind bars for the foreseeable future, without his usual support structure in place.

We’re going to have to play out that storyline a little bit to know exactly where it goes. We’re still kind of figuring out the ramifications of everything in terms of where he lands. The interesting thing is by having the two people he loved most in terms of the club, Juice and Gemma, kind of turn on him. I do think there was a moment where, even though you despise Clay to an extent, you actually felt sorry for this guy. So yeah, there’s not a lot of sympathy out there.

Jax too will be facing some difficult choices ahead, as Sutter revealed the character has largely let go of the dream to leave SAMCRO and Charming behind. “I think Jax has made the decision, ‘This is my life, this is what I’m supposed to be doing, but can I do it the right way? Can I get us out of guns? Can I go legit?,” says Sutter, a predicament that feels all to familiar. “He’s at the same precipice his dad was at 25 years ago. It’s not so much about getting out but, ‘Can I make it less dangerous and keep people safe? Can I keep my family whole?’ That’s the shift that has happened.”

While Donal Logue's villainous Lee Toric will return, and Jimmy Smits (Nero Padilla) was announced to join the series as a regular this coming year, still unconfirmed is the involvement of Billy Blanks’ character August Marks, whom Sutter cautioned might not be available for the sixth season. Last year, Sutter told reporters the next batch of episodes would likely open a few weeks ahead in the story, the weight of the season 5 finale’s events still fresh.

Well, what say you? Will Clay's misdeeds finally do him in this season, or will he live to fight another day? Will Jax be able to keep SAMCRO in line where his father failed? Tell us what you want to see from 'Sons of Anarchy' season 6 in the comments!
