Sony PlayStation 4 Coming This Holiday, Cheaper Than Xbox One

Sony PlayStation 4
Sony

Sony dropped a heaping handful of mics on Microsoft on Monday night, revealing the PlayStation 4 would launch at $399.

If you’ve been keeping track at home, the Xbox One is slated to arrive at $499 when it also releases later this year.

The console wars haven’t been much of a war for the past few years, but the next generation’s fight for dominance has already begun, and neither Sony nor Microsoft have dropped a console at retail yet.

Though it will be interesting to see which company does arrive first at stores, it would seem Sony certainly has a leg up on the competition based solely on price alone right now.

Now that you know the prices of both consoles, which are you getting on day one? Has the PlayStation 4 stolen your heart, or are you all in on the Xbox One?
