Ever one to steer into topical controversy within a week of its airing, South Park will pull out all the stops on gun control with this week’s nineteenth season finale “PC Principal Final Justice.” The horror of a politically correct South Park infested with ads will finally come to a close, but judging by the first clip, no one may be left standing to enjoy it.

No doubt influenced by the San Bernardino shootings once again thrusting the nation’s gun control issues into the limelight, our first clip from the South Park finale sees Cartman and his mother pulling guns on one another. It isn’t clear if Matt and Trey had always intended to factor gun violence into the largely PC and advertising push Season 19 has taken to date, as reads the official synopsis:

The gentrification of South Park is pricing Randy right out of town. Meanwhile, Kyle’s distrust of Stan has broken their friendship and thrown Kyle into a dangerous alliance.

Of course, South Park has been renewed through 2019, so we needn’t worry about the duo lacking things to say for the foreseeable future, but preview the final South Park of 2015 above, and stay tuned for the latest.
