Last week we caught our first glimpse of the new 'South Park' season previewing the newsworthy topics likely for target by the Emmy-winning series, but at long last season 17 premiere "Let Go, Let Gov" is nearly upon us. The first new 'South Park' footage of the season has emerged, but who becomes the first target of Cartman's wrath when the acclaimed satire finally returns?

It's the NSA and WikiLeaks by a nose, as Comedy Central has revealed that the first new episode since 2012 will see Cartman coping with the revelations of wiretapping and email surveillance, while Butters finds a new figure to look up towards. Seen above, the first official clip from "Let Go, Let Gov" even manages to sneak in a swipe about Alec Baldwin, no less.

When Cartman manages to get himself behind the doors of the NSA, he doesn’t like what he finds in his personal file. He thinks it’s time he told everyone the truth.
