With all the Comic-Con 2014 excitement swirling about, it can be difficult to remember that life will go on beyond July, and summer certainly holds more of our favorite TV premieres to come. Comedy Central's long-running 'South Park' has always seemed few and far between with its airing, but at long last, the 18th season for Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Cartman and the rest of the town has a premiere date!

Via Stan Marsh's official Facebook page (yes, it's verified, and we appreciate the irony with "You Have 0 Friends"), we've learned that 'South Park' will officially return with brand-new episodes on the season 18 premiere, scheduled for Wednesday, September 24. As with the previous season, it's expected to consist of one straight-shot of 10 episodes, rather than two diluted halves of 7 episodes apiece.

Knowing 'South Park''s production process the way we do, it'd be impossible to say what pop culture topics and issues might end up tackled by the September premiere, but with the 17th season covering everything from 'Game of Thrones' to Kim Kardashian, Matt Stone and Trey Parker won't have far to look for material. And hey, hopefully Bill Hader will be sticking around too.

Unfortunately a bit of a ways off, but what say you? Are you happy to have 'South Park' back in the dying days of summer for a September 24 premiere? What do you want to see given the satirical edge this time around? Get this season 17 moment stuck in your head all over again, and give us your thoughts in the comments!
