Not long after the initial rumor was reported, it was confirmed that Robert Downey Jr. will be making an appearance in Spider-Man: Homecoming — returning Sony’s favor following Tom Holland’s MCU debut as the web-slinger in Captain America: Civil War. Since then, we’ve been wondering if any other Marvel characters would crossover to the Spidey reboot, and according to Holland, there’s at least one more hero he wants to see in his upcoming solo film.

Speaking with MTV, Holland said he wants Chris Evans’ Cap to appear in Spider-Man: Homecoming:

I really like Iron Man, he’s obviously my favorite. I’d like Cap to show up at some point. I think that would be really cool if he did.

It would be really cool if Cap showed up in the Spider-Man reboot. This could just be Holland’s wishful thinking, but it might also be a hint that Sony is trying to work something out with Marvel for a Cap cameo.

Holland also spoke briefly about what makes his Peter Parker / Spider-Man different from previous versions — chiefly, his age:

You’re really gonna get to see a kid with superpowers. And one of the nicest things about [Captain America: Civil War] is that you see a real kid reacting to Avengers just how a real kid would, and that’s exactly how I reacted. That’s one of the main differences.

We’ve heard a lot of talk from Marvel’s Kevin Feige and director Jon Watts about the youthful angle of the Spider-Man reboot and its potential sequels, which will keep Peter Parker in high school for a bit longer than previous films. Feige also recently confirmed that Marvel has creative control over Spider-Man: Homecoming, which hits theaters on July 7, 2017. The cast also includes Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, with The Grand Budapest Hotel’s Tony Revolori as Peter’s high school rival, and Zendaya and Laura Harrier in mystery roles (“Michelle” appears to be the code name production is using for the younger female characters).

But first, Holland will make his debut as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, which hits theaters on May 6.
