Transformers: The Last Knight is bringing back some familiar faces to add to the growing cast list that already includes Anthony Hopkins, Santiago Cabrera, and Liam Garrigan, who was just cast as King Arthur. Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, and Tyrese Gibson are all returning, and they’re bringing along Stanley Tucci, who played Joshua Joyce in Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Deadline reports that Tucci confirmed his character’s return when he was in Deauville, France to receive a career tribute. In Age of Extinction Joshua Joyce attempted to engineer human-made Transformers by extracting information from the imprisoned Autobot Brains. He tells Optimus Prime that he and his Autobots are obsolete, but his plan goes awry when the two prototypes he creates turn against him, due to one of them being modeled after data recovered from the severed head of Megatron.

With Megatron essentially reborn, it’ll be interesting to see what kind of hand he’ll have in the action of The Last Knight, whose plot is still unconfirmed. We know it has something to do with the King Arthur legend, and Michael Bay and the crew are currently filming in Scotland, and Excalibur might make an appearance at some point, but other than that Paramount is playing this one pretty close to the chest.

Transformers: The Last Knight hits theaters June 23, 2017.
