Trekkies are probably making travel arrangements to the U.K. en masse after it was announced that the actors who played the captains on all five live-action 'Star Trek' television shows will attend the Destination Star Trek London fan convention in October.

William Shatner, Patrick Stewart, Avery Brooks, Kate Mulgrew and Scott Bakula have appeared separately at various 'Star Trek'-themed gatherings, but this will mark the first time they've shared a stage together.

Shatner played perhaps the most famous captain, James Tiberias Kirk, who helmed the U.S.S. Enterprise in the original 1960s 'Star Trek' series. And here's a bit of trivia for you: he and Stewart, who played Jean Luc Picard on 'Star Trek: The Next Generation,' are the only two captains from the sci-fi series to have received stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Brooks was the first black male performer to portray a major 'Star Trek' leader, doing so as Benjamin Sisko on 'Deep Space Nine' in the 1990s, while Mulgrew was the first woman to lead a 'Trek'-based series. She played Kathryn Janeway on 'Star Trek: Voyager,' which was followed by prequel series 'Enterprise,' on which Bakula portrayed Captain Jonathan Archer.

The Destination Star Trek London fan fest takes place Oct. 19-21. Get tickets and learn more on the event website.
