It appeared a 1:07 into the 'Star Trek Into Darkness' trailer and flashed on screen for less than a second. It was a web site URL hidden on a computer screen that led viewers crafty enough to notice it to areyouthe1701.com. If you missed it, you can see it in the screenshot below:

So what is "The 1701?" Well it's unclear right now. Once you click on the logo, you're presented with a "Shall We Begin?" prompt asking for your information. After that? Well, nothing just yet but the promise of being in contact once the game launches.
